The data showed that robot-assisted gait training with various training modes significantly improved balance, walking function, and lower limb strength compared to conventional physiotherapy in these patients.

This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of prophylactic cranial irradiation (PCI) in patients with extensive stage (ES) small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The data indicated that PCI may decrease the occurrence of brain metastases in patients with ES-SCLC and improve 1-year survival time, without improving the overall survival rate.

This study examined the impact of three types of aerobic training exercises on measurements of heart and metabolic function in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D). The data showed that greater improvements occurred in heart and breathing function measurements with low-volume high-intensity training (HITT) compared to low-volume moderate to vigorous intensity continuous training (MICT) in these patients.

This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of aprocitentan (ACT-132577) for lowering blood pressure (BP) in patients with resistant or uncontrolled hypertension (high BP). The data showed that aprocitentan was effective in lowering the BP after 4 weeks with a sustained effect after 40 weeks compared to a placebo with manageable side effects in these patients.

This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of indobufen (Ibustrin) plus clopidogrel (Plavix) versus aspirin plus clopidogrel in patients with negative cardiac troponin undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug-eluting stent (DES). The data showed that indobufen plus clopidogrel significantly reduced the risk of bleeding events without increasing the risk of heart attacks, stroke, or death events compared with aspirin plus clopidogrel in these patients.

This study investigated the effects of foot-ankle therapeutic exercises on daily physical activity and gait (walking) speed in people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN). The data showed that at 12 weeks, these exercises led to improvements in fast walking speeds and quality of life compared to usual care.

This study assessed the effectiveness and safety of adding dorzagliatin (HMS552) to metformin therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) with inadequately controlled blood glucose (sugar) while using metformin (Glucophage) alone. The data showed effective blood glucose control, good tolerance, and safety in patients treated with dorzagliatin and metformin.

This study evaluated the effectiveness and long-term safety of dorzagliatin in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) without previous antidiabetic treatment. The authors concluded that dorzagliatin blood glucose (sugar) levels with no serious side effects in these patients.
