This study explored the effectiveness and safety of tripterygium glycosides (TG) as a disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD) when combined with conventional DMARDs for treating rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The authors concluded that good safety and better improvements in RA symptoms were observed when TG was combined with a conventional DMARD compared to conventional treatment alone.

This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) either alone or in combination for the treatment of patients with advanced melanoma. The data showed that nivolumab (Opdivo) and ipilimumab (Yervoy) combination therapy was more effective than nivolumab or ipilimumab alone for the treatment of these patients.

This study evaluated the effectiveness of lenalidomide (Revlimid)-containing regimens in patients with first relapsed multiple myeloma (MM). The data showed that daratumumab (Darzalex) combined with lenalidomide and dexamethasone (Rd) regimen significantly increased the survival without cancer worsening with fewer serious side effects compared to carfilzomib (Kyprolis) combined with Rd regimen in these patients.

This study compared the effectiveness and safety between immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and docetaxel (Taxotere) therapy alone in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The data showed ICIs significantly improved the survival outcomes with fewer serious side effects compared to docetaxel alone for the treatment of patients with NSCLC.

This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of noninvasive cerebellar stimulation (NICS) in improving the balance and walking function of patients with stroke. The data showed that NICS improved the balance and walking function in these patients.

This analysis investigated the relationship between anti-diabetic medications and the risk of fractures in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D). The data showed that glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP1-RAs) and sulfonylurea (SU) provided better protection against fractures compared to thiazolidinedione (TZD) or dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (DPP-4is) while sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT-2i) increased the risk of fractures compared to GLP1-RAs.

The study evaluated the effectiveness of injections of autologous endometrial cells (AEC) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in infertile women with a thin endometrium (uterine lining). The study found that PRP injections and injections of AEC suspended in PRP improved the cells and thickness of the endometrium.

This study investigated the safety and effectiveness of ABX464 (Obefazimod) in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with inadequate responses to methotrexate (Trexall) or anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha (anti-TNFα) treatment. The authors concluded that ABX464 was safe and well-tolerated with promising effectiveness in these patients at a daily dose of 50 mg.

This study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of replacing lenalidomide (Revlimid) with pomalidomide (Pomalyst) for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory (r/r) multiple myeloma (MM) who were unresponsive to a lenalidomide-containing combination regimen. The data showed that pomalidomide was a safe and effective replacement for lenalidomide in these patients.
